Mobile Frac Water Treatment
Our patented fully automated mobile unit has been developed to treat, verify treatment, and log the effectiveness of the treatment to ensure the water quality specifications are met.
PetroChlor
PetroChlor is an integrated system that produces an aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide. Our patented PetroChlor Chlorine Dioxide(ClO2) oxidizing biocide provides safe rapid inactivation of all microbial life found on the surface, ground, flow back, and produced water used for fracking processes.
Bulk Chemical Distribution
We have developed two bulk chemicals – our Buffered Caustic Soda designed for the safety of employees, and our proprietary gel-breaker which has been developed to work down hole when you need it – that we can manufacture and deliver to clients.

ScaleQuest™
A blend of polymeric sequestrants and dispersants developed to function in high-stress conditions where traditional water treatments are compromised.
Corr-Shield™
Provides penetrating, wetting and film forming properties that inhibit corrosion of carbon steel piping even under high stress conditions.
DeSal All-in-One
Combines both ScaleQuest™ and Corr-Shield™ in one convenient formulation to minimize chemical storage and feed equipment. Injection Rates determined by SG and temperature of total production to optimize chemistry and fresh water injection rate recommendation.
Vanquish™
EPA registered biocide that provides effective control of bacteria from both source water as well as from cross contamination from fresh water storage tanks and trucks transporting water.
AccuBreak
A viscosity modifier in the hydraulic fracturing process, this innovated peroxide breaker provides precision time-based gel break.
Ex Flow A-FR-Fluid
An Anionic Friction Reducer that allows for better Proppant Suspension, Lower freeze point, and High Solids Tolerance, all at lower volumes of this Friction Reducer.
AquaFlush TR30
A concentrated, high-performance, nonionic surfactant based product that significantly reduces surface and interfacial tension for maximum removal of spent fluids during flow back.
Mineralyte SI30
A concentrated scale inhibitor for control of barium sulfate, calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and strontium sulfate in high TDS water.
PetroChlor
Provides safe rapid inactivation of all microbial life found on the surface, ground, flow back, and produced water used for fracking processes.
Safe-BFH
Flatirons Chemicals recognized the need for a safer alternative to the standard pH modifying compounds widely available in the industry. This product significantly reduces the exposure to off-gassing and skin irritation, while maintaining the superior performance needed for additional frac chemistry performance.

Case Study
Spring Brook System
Flatirons Midstream constructed the Spring Brook System (“Spring Brook”) over a 16 month period and went operational in April 2015. Located outside of the town of Williston in Williams County, ND, Spring Brook comprises gas gathering, processing and gas lift service for producers in the Williston Basin.
